We are building an AI-native decision layer for investment teams — one that helps them move faster, evaluate more consistently, and keep human judgment at the center.”
— Wael Aburida, Founder and Managing Partner, Fikra Ventures
ABU DHABI, ABU DHABI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES, June 8, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Fikra Ventures, a global AI-native venture studio, today announced that Mohamed Nabil has joined Prism56 as Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer, and Moatassem Abdelhaleem has joined Fikra Ventures as its first Entrepreneur in Residence.

The appointments expand Fikra Ventures’ technical, founder, and international execution capabilities as the studio builds applied AI companies across the Gulf, Europe, and international markets.

Prism56 is Fikra Ventures’ AI-native investment intelligence platform for private-market investors, family offices, venture studios, and institutional investment teams. The platform is already in active use with design-partner investment teams across European and Gulf markets, where it is being used to support evaluations on live deal flow.

Fikra Ventures is building a venture studio platform anchored by strategic nodes in key markets. The studio brings together founders, technical leaders, commercial partners, and market access to move from thesis to validation to company creation, with a focus on AI products that solve real business problems and can scale internationally.

Fikra Ventures’ model connects market demand with technical talent, research capability, and institutional partners. The studio works with investors, corporates, government entities, and academic institutions to identify commercially relevant AI opportunities, validate them quickly, and build companies with clear pathways to adoption.

Mohamed Nabil joins Prism56 as Co-Founder and CTO
Mohamed will lead Prism56’s technical architecture, AI product development, and engineering roadmap. Splitting his time between Egypt and the UAE, he brings regional execution experience and a practical understanding of how applied AI products are built and deployed across markets.

A serial founder and technology leader, Mohamed has eight years of experience building applied AI systems across robotics, enterprise automation, and Arabic natural language processing. He co-founded Vortex Robotics and Farabi, an intelligent document processing company serving government and enterprise clients, and previously led the AI team at Tactful, where he helped build omni-channel customer service infrastructure.

“Mohamed brings the founder mindset and applied AI experience we need for Prism56,” said Wael Aburida, Founder and Managing Partner of Fikra Ventures. “We are not building another workflow tool. We are building an AI-native decision layer for investment teams — one that helps them move faster, evaluate more consistently, and keep human judgment at the center. Mohamed has built real AI systems across robotics, automation, and document intelligence, and that practical experience matters.”

“Prism56 is solving a real problem for investment teams,” said Mohamed Nabil, Co-Founder and CTO of Prism56. “Investors face more information than ever, but evaluation is still too manual and inconsistent, especially across markets where deal materials do not follow a standard format. Prism56 structures that information, reasons through it, and gives teams a faster, more consistent first pass. The judgment stays human; the grunt work does not.”

Moatassem Abdelhaleem joins Fikra Ventures as Entrepreneur in Residence

As Fikra Ventures’ first Entrepreneur in Residence, Moatassem will work with the studio on new company creation. His role will include evaluating opportunities being developed inside Fikra Ventures, shaping founder-led concepts, supporting customer discovery, and helping assess venture opportunities with strong commercial potential.

Moatassem brings a decade-long entrepreneurship journey, a computer engineering background, and deep applied AI experience to the studio. He has spent more than ten years building and advising companies, including AI consulting engagements with publicly listed corporations and banks on technology adoption. He is also the founder of ProMoat, an AI-powered content platform, giving him direct experience at the intersection of AI products, audience development, and go-to-market execution.

Based in Lithuania, Moatassem adds a European vantage point to Fikra Ventures’ platform. His presence gives the studio closer visibility into European technology and startup activity while supporting Fikra Ventures’ broader model of building through strategic nodes in key markets.

“Moatassem brings the founder-operator perspective that is important to our model,” said Aburida. “We are not trying to generate ideas on paper. We are trying to move quickly from thesis to validation to execution. His experience building AI-enabled products, advising companies on technology adoption, and growing digital audiences will help us pressure-test opportunities not only technically, but commercially.”

“Fikra Ventures is approaching AI company creation with the discipline of an institutional platform,” said Moatassem Abdelhaleem, Entrepreneur in Residence at Fikra Ventures. “The focus is not simply on generating ideas. It is on identifying commercially relevant opportunities, validating them quickly, and building ventures that can reach the customers who need them. I am excited to work with the team on founder-led concepts that can become real companies with strong commercial foundations.”

With Mohamed leading Prism56’s technical development and Moatassem joining as Entrepreneur in Residence, Fikra Ventures is expanding the talent base behind its venture-building platform. The appointments reinforce the studio’s approach of combining technical execution, founder development, commercial validation, and cross-market access.
